VBA Language..

11 12 2008

Om Suastiastu

Hi.. Muncul lagi nih..

Thanks guys.. good work!! :D

Sub OpenSingleFile()
Dim Filter As String, Title As String
Dim FilterIndex As Integer
Dim Filename As Variant
' File filters
Filter = "Excel Files (*.xls),*.xls," & _
"Text Files (*.txt),*.txt," & _
"All Files (*.*),*.*"
' Default Filter to *.*
FilterIndex = 3
' Set Dialog Caption
Title = "Select a File to Open"
' Select Start Drive & Path
ChDrive ("E")
ChDir ("E:\Chapters\chap14")
With Application
' Set File Name to selected File
Filename = .GetOpenFilename(Filter, FilterIndex, Title)
' Reset Start Drive/Path
ChDrive (Left(.DefaultFilePath, 1))
ChDir (.DefaultFilePath)
End With
' Exit on Cancel
If Filename = False Then
MsgBox "No file was selected."
Exit Sub
End If
' Open File
Workbooks.Open Filename
MsgBox Filename, vbInformation, "File Opened" ' This can be removed
End Sub

Ini yang untuk multiple files.

Sub OpenMultipleFiles()
Dim Filter As String, Title As String, msg As String
Dim i As Integer, FilterIndex As Integer
Dim Filename As Variant
' File filters
Filter = "Excel Files (*.xls),*.xls," & _
"Text Files (*.txt),*.txt," & _
"All Files (*.*),*.*"
' Default filter to *.*
FilterIndex = 3
' Set Dialog Caption
Title = "Select File(s) to Open"
' Select Start Drive & Path
ChDrive ("E")
ChDir ("E:\Chapters\chap14")
With Application
' Set File Name Array to selected Files (allow multiple)
Filename = .GetOpenFilename(Filter, FilterIndex, Title, , True)
' Reset Start Drive/Path
ChDrive (Left(.DefaultFilePath, 1))
ChDir (.DefaultFilePath)
End With
' Exit on Cancel
If Not IsArray(Filename) Then
MsgBox "No file was selected."
Exit Sub
End If
' Open Files
For i = LBound(Filename) To UBound(Filename)
msg = msg & Filename(i) & vbCrLf ' This can be removed
Workbooks.Open Filename(i)
Next i
MsgBox msg, vbInformation, "Files Opened"' This can be removed
End Sub

Selamat ber-VBA!!

Kaliorang: Return Trip to Unknown Area

17 11 2008

Kaliorang.

The first time I heard about this place I thought it was a place in Jogjakarta. But this Kaliorang is in East Borneo, located about 100 km away from Sangata.

I went to Kaliorang with my friend, Ivan, yesterday. We rode my precious Scorpion Z off course. We hit the road at 14:30 from Wisma Rayah, all fresh and well prepared. I wore my Jou-nin jacket, INK full face helmet and safety shoes. Ivan was wearing his belel jean, Yamaha full face helmet and sandals. I rode first.

I did a little research with Google Earth before decided to do this trip and this was the result.

Kaliorang viewed with Google Earth and its location from Sangata.

We took the road to Tj. Bara first. It took 10 minutes to reach Bengalon intersection. My Scorpio hit 110 kmph before passing the intersection. Then, we turned left. This was the challenging part. The road from here to Bengalon was bad. There were many holes and road cuts. As result, we had to reduce our speed and sometimes caught the holes in purpose because there was no other way to avoid them. There were rifts on both side of the road. Therefore, we had to be very careful on the way to Bengalon. Then, we passed pit A intersection. From this point up to another 5 km, the road was not asphalted. It was a hard-graveled-earth road. But after that, we find a good-asphalted road with very beautiful scene. The air was so fresh, the hill was in front of us as if we were going to cross it, and the land was green filled with many plantation. It was a very good road. After another 2 hours riding from Bengalon intersaction, we finally reached our destination: Kaliorang. We arrived at the intersection which had a police station on the front-left side of it. Afraid in getting lost, we stopped at the police station and got introduced to Putu, the officer on guard. We talked about the area and asked several question about the Puskesmas that my love one is going to spend her PTT in. There were many Balinese live in Kaliorang. Their occupations were varying from policemen, farmers, merchants, and even doctors. I’m glad that it means a lot of nice people that can be counted on. I hope it would make our love complete ya sayang.

The next stop was the Puskesmas. It located 2 km away from the intersaction. It seems that house for the doctors is located next to Puskesmas. I also saw the practice sign owned by dr. Didit in one of the house. On the other side of Puskesmas is Kaliorang elementary school, called SDN 5.

After taking a couple of pictures, we headed back to Sangata again. It was 17:00 when we started the return trip to Sangata. We managed to arrive in Sangata at 19:00 and went straight to Cak Ali to attend mas Ibrahim’s farewell party. Thanks to mas Ibra for the very good dinner at Cak Ali. Thanks Mas! I pray for your success and happiness in the new job.

Mas Ibra farewell party

Brief summary of the trip:

- Distance : 200 km. (Sangatta – Kaliorang = 100 km).

- Time : 4.5 hours. (Start: 14:30; Finish: 19:00).

- Expenses : Rp. 20.000,- (Gasoline). Dinner was provided by Mas Ibrahim.

J-Dorama: Liar Game

29 09 2008

Om Suastiastu.

Hai Temans.. Long time no see ya.. :D

Amiinn.. Wigenam Astu.

Kebetulan juga beberapa hari ini gw lagi hobby banget nonton drama jepang, or istilah kerennya J-Dorama. Pertamanya sih gara-gara dapet tempat download gratisan di internet (yeey!! Hidup Indowebster!! :D :D ). Berhubung di barak pake speedy unlimited, jadinya merasa sayang aja kalo komputer di kamar ga dimanfaatkan selama 24 jam.. :p hehee…. Akhirnya gw download-in deh.

Selamat menonton..

The Trip to Another Victory… (Part 1 & 2)

13 02 2008

Om Suastiastu.

PART 1

Hi, all..

It’s 3:08 AM on 20th November 2007. I know that I need to go sleep now. Otherwise, I will be too sleepy tomorrow. But, WTH. I just can’t stop to write now. So please read carefully, okay? And please forgive me if I did some miss spell or something. Enjoy your read.. :)

Today I want to write my journey to Balikpapan. There was a rugby game called Willy’s Cup took place in TOTAL Sports Ground, Balikpapan. We had practiced at least 4 times before the game. All of us felt very confidence that we’re going to defeat any opponent that stand before us. There were also a couple new players who just started to play. But it didn’t matter. We asked them to come every training session. Therefore, at least they would feel comfortable being around the team. Good job guys for the effort. Well, just start the journey then.

It’s all began on Friday afternoon. We had agreed to gather in Senior Camp’s bus stop at 18:00 WITA. I arrived from office at 17:30 and decided to take a quick shower before I left. I just a little bit uncomfy to take 6 hours bus tour without taking a bath before. I put my clothes on, prayed about 10 minutes, took my bag and rugby shoes, and walked to the bust stop. It was 18:10 WITA when I arrived. Sorry guys.. J But at least I wasn’t the last one to show up. Hehehe… (Sorry Sep). After checking all the bags, the players, officials, cheers, etc; we were ready to go. So we stepped in to the bus, which is ARAFAT’s bus, and the journey to Balikpapan had begun..

Fiuuhh… Waw, it’s almost 3:30 AM!! I need to rest now. I’ll continue tomorrow, okay?

Enjoy the read guys..

PART 2

Sorry for the late post mate.. I found it hard to write in my spare time.

Ok let me continue then.

We went to Balikpapan with Arafat bus. The road was never been easy. There were holes and erosion along the road. One of my buddies had a bus sick because of this. At first we would never imagine that our “Best Indonesian Player” had a bus sick but looks could be deceiving. (hehehe… sorry Tu…). What made it worst he threw up inside the bus!! Yes, he did!! Euuuwww…. That was awful. The smell, the vomit, everything was so disgusting. That left us with no choice then stopped the bus immediately.

We stopped at a tofu restaurant after passing Bontang. We called the place “Tahu Sumedang”. Tahu means tofu while Sumedang is a place in West Java which is well known because of its soft juicy fried tofu. You should try one of this if you are traveling to Indonesia. We ordered 4 plates of tofu (that was 80 pieces of fried tofu). We rested for about 20 minutes. Our “Best Indonesian Player” had ordered noodles to fill up his half empty stomach. I couldn’t imagine how he could eat such food after the incident. The shape of the boiled noodle is almost the same with what he had vomited. LOL!!

Anyway, we managed to continue the trip to Balikpapan. We arrived at Balikpapan around 01:00 AM. We checked in at Le Grandeur Hotel, one of Balikpapan’s best hotels. We also greeted some of our rugby mates on the discotheque, Borneo Pub. Then, we went straight to bed because we would have a great match against Jakarta the following day.

The next day, we still had spare time before the game. The match started at 14:00. Putu and I decided to go to Kebun Sayur, the location where you can find many East Borneo souvenirs, to buy some souvenirs for our friends and family. There were a lot of souvenirs that we could buy; such as: necklaces, bracelets, rings, even a lampit which is a traditional carpet made from bamboo. The favorite one is necklace. The price varies between IDR 5,000 to 150,000. From Kebun Sayur we went to Balikpapan Plaza, one of Balikpapan’s malls. We met our team mates there, had lunch, and then back to hotel together preparing stuff to be brought to the match. At 13:30 all of Sangatta Hornbills were ready to go.

Fieewww… Let me continue another time, ok?

I’m also going to write about “What is the cheapest rate of GSM provider in East Bornoe

Stay tuned for the info.

Pencerahan Hati..

6 11 2007

Thanks to my close friend about that. Hopefully we’ll meet soon ya.. (Ga yakin kalo kamu sempat googling n menemukan blog ini, Ri.. :p )

Sangat menggugah semangat!!!!

Selamat membaca.

PS: Thanks ya Ri.. You’ve opened my mind.
